radha-mukunda-pada-sambhava-gharma-bindu-
nirmaïchanopakarané-kåta-deha-lakñam
uttuìga-sauhåda-viçeña-bharat
pragalbhaà
devéà gunaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer my respectful obeisances to
charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, who worships the perspiration from Çri Çri
Rädhä-Mukunda's feet, and who, out of great love, is very bold and arrogant.

raka-sudha-kirana-manòala-kanti-danòi-
tunòa-çriyaà
cakita-caru-camuru-netram
radha-prasadhana-vidhana-kala-prasiddhaà
devéà gunaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer my respectful obeisances to
charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, the beauty of whose face rebukes the full
moon's splendor, whose eyes are like the lovely eyes of a frightened doe, and
who is famous for artistically decorating Çrimaté Rädhärané.

lasyollasad-bhujaga-çatru-patattra-citra-
paööaàçukabharana-kaïculikaïcitaìém
gorocana-ruci-vigarhana-gaurimanaà
devéà gunaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer my respectful obeisances to
charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, whose transcendental form is gracefully
dressed with a bodice, ornaments, and silk garments wonderfully colorful as the
tail of a jubilantly dancing peacock, and whose fair
complexion
rebukes the splendor of gorocana.

dhurte vrajendra-tanaye
tanu suñöhu vamyaà
ma dakñina bhava
kalaìkini laghavaya
radhe giraà çånu hitam
iti çikñayantéà
devéà gunaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer my respectful obeisances to
charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, who gives the following instruction.
"Rädhä, please hear these beneficial words: Be contrary with the rogue who
is the prince of Vraja. O dishonored one, do not become gentle and submissive
for Your own undoing."

radham abhi vraja-pateù
kåtam atmajena
kuöaà manag api vilokya vilohitakñém
vag-bhaìgibhis tam
acirena vilajjayantéà
devéà gunaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer my respectful obeisances to
charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, who, seeing Him even slightly cheat Çri
Rädhä, with reddened eyes shames the prince of Vraja with a flood of words.

vatsalya-vånda-vasatià
paçupala-rajïyaù
sakhyanuçikñana-kalasu
guruà sakhénam
radha-balavaraja-jévita-nirviçeñaà
devéà gunaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer my respectful obeisances to
charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, who is the abode where the queen of the
gopas places her love, who is the teacher of the arts of friendship to her
friends, and who considers Çri Çri Rädhä-Kåñëa as dear as life.

yaà kam api vraja-kule
våñabhanujayah
prekñya sva-pakña-padavém anurudhyamanam
sadyas tad iñöa-ghaöanena
kåtarthayantéà
devéà guëaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer my respectful obeisances to
charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, all of whose desires became at once
completely fulfilled when She saw in Vraja the path of Çri Rädhä blocked by a
certain person.

radha-vrajendrasuta-saìgama-raìga-caryaà
varyaà viniçcitavatém akhilotsavebhyaù
taà
gokula-priya-sakhé-nikuramba-mukhyaà
devéà gunaiù su-lalitaà
lalitaà namami
I offer
my respectful obeisances to charming and virtuous Lalitä-devi, who is the first
of Rädhä's friends in Gokula, and for whom the meeting of Çri Çri Rädhä-Kåñëa
is the greatest of jubilant festivals.

lalita-guëa-lalitani
padyani yaù paöhati nirmala-dåñöir añöau
prétya vikarñati janaà
nija-vånda-madhye
taà kértida-pati-kulojjvala-kalpa-vallé
Çrimaté Rädhärané, the splendid desire vine in the family of King Våñabhanu, lovingly accepts among Her own associates a person who happily and with pure vision reads these eight verses describing the charming virtues of Çri Lalitä.
