DON'T SEE GOD BUT EXPIRIENCE

IST SCENE

DESCRIPTION (A sanyasi sitting on the asana reciting Vedic mantras - facing towards the audience. After this he speaks to himself - the following words:-)

Sanyasi:- In these texts of the vedas - it is so nicely explained how the Supreme Lord exists as the creator, sustainor and destroyer of this Universe. It is so ingmorant, that in this age - people cannot understand God. Everywhere, the atmosfere is filled with the slogans of "NO GOD", "SHOW ME GOD", "SHOW ME GOD". THEY do not know that they must have spiritual eyes to see God. Oh! my

Lord please break the unbreakable hearts of the demons? - (Looking upward in the sky - raising his two arms and again touching his chest.)

Suddenly a young men gets up from the middle of the crowd and started shouting at the Sanyasi)

Young Man -- "Show me God! Show me God! You must show me God. I want to see God. Where is God. I am sick and tired of hearing. God---God! This world is filled with Gurus ...Gods and Goddesses.

(The sanyasi speaks-very calmly and slowly to pacify the young man.)

Sanyasi:- "Oh! young man, please come to your senses - let us speak calmly. It is a slow and gradual process. (Indicating by his two hands -- pushing up and down) -- Calm down -- calm down. Just sit here - let us talk.

Young man: NO! I cannot wait - you are just going to cheat me. When we speak about an apple, we know it is there. I get satisfied when I eat it because it exists. We speak about Amitabh Bachan, NTR, MGR and all because they exists. We can see them right in front of our eyes. But where is God? (in a passionate way shaking both his hands). Thousands of years have passed, Gurus, Yogis and devotees speak, God, God!. They failed to show God to people. No! I cannot accept all what you say. You just show me God.

Sanyasi: (Still cool and patient -- Raising his hand showing his palm -- in the way of consoling him.) Look! my dear young man, before you know what is meant by seeing God, you must understand that -- we cannot see God by our gross eyes -because they are material, limited and imperfect but God is spiritual, unlimited and Supermely perfect. So how can we imperfect, with a limited and finite beings can see God? -- (Suddenly the young man interrupts with a loud voice - angrily)

Young man - Then tell me why you are speaking about GOD who is beyond our sense perception. No! you so-called Gurus and Sanyasis are just cheaters -- you are in fools paradise -- simply wasting the precious time of others and yourself. You are dreaming. You are parasite to the society - just because you are lazy. You must show me God - unless and until God is not shown right in front of my eyes. Your explainations are just the outpourings of the tongue which has no bones (In the agry mood)

Sanyasi: - (became angry) - he picked up the 'Kamandalu' from his side and hits on the head of the young man and shouts) -- "Now you have seen God! For a

faithless person like you, this is the real God. See God, See God! You offender to the devotees and the Supreme Lord. (Hitting of the Kamandalu on the head of the young man, sounds of big karatals, mridanga etc. simultaneously occured).

(Young man speaks with a voice - indicating pain and groaning) -- No this is not God (withdrawing his voice little bit due to pain),- in between he breaths heavily) "This is your 'kamandalu' Oh! the whole kamandalu is on my head.

Instead of showing me God and giving me nectar, you are giving me your Kamandalu. (He drags his voice) and cries for help. Two persons come in and shouts. Police, Police, somebody is in a pool of blood, Oh!, he must be taken to hospital)

(From behind the screen - speaks the following words - joining the last scene and the next scene.)

(Now we have seen how the youngman got the Kamandalu therapy from the Sanyasi. The Sanyasi's act may look like a violent one, contradictionary to the conduct of a spiritual person but, he has chosen the process to demonstate practically how God cannot be seen through the gross eyes. But unfortunately the young man happens to be the victim of the demonstration due to his ignorance. It is not that the Sanyasi is incapable of transmitting the so-called spiritual electric current by touching the body of the young man. But he is not interested in showing his mystic power, but he wanted to make the young man convinced, the scientific way of God realisation. The process is only a therapy to treat the sickness of Godlessness, in the young man. Now let us witness te judgment ON EXPERIENCE GOD, so let us turn our attention to the explaination of the Sanyasi, which will drive out the haunting question of the present people that God must be shown to them.)

2nd scene: (Judge sits on the chair, called upon the young man and the Sanyasi onto the stage)

Judge: "Oh! young man tell me what is the problem."

Young man: "Sir, this Sanyasi has broken my head with his Kamandalu. This is an attempt to eliminate my life. Your honour please render proper justice to this heinous act."

Judge: (Looking towards the Sanyasi) "Oh! sanyasi, is it true that you have broken the young man's hed. Why you did that? You must tell me the reason. Otherwise you will be punished. There is no partiality in the eyes of justice, whether one is a Sanyasi, a layman or a king, everybody has to got equal right to obtain justice."

Sanyasi: "Your honour, this young man (pointing towards the young man) came and asked me to show God to him, so I was trying to make his understand whether he should see God or expirience HIM, but he was so impatient and restless, that he could not wait for a moment. He insulted me, along with all the Parama Gurus, even came to the extent of defying the Supreme Lord. He gave me so much disturbance, and interference in my spiritual practice. Therefore, to make him understand, I have to give him the Kamandalu therapy on his head.

Judge: In suprise (His eyes widely opening) exclaims -- "What do you mean by this Kamandalu therapy "!

The Sanyasi shows the kamandalu by lifting it up.

The Judge nods his head with acknowledgement and speaks 'Yes, Yes proced.

Sanyasi: You honour will give me the opportunity to question this young man. (He turns abrubtly towards the young man and speaks)

Sanyasi: Oh! young man!

Young man: No! No more kamandalus, that is very painful. Please do not repeat

it again.

Sanyasi: Calm down, Calm down. Do not be panicked. I am not a brute, as you think. I just wanted to be reasonable, with you. Let me ask some question. (remain silent for a second, in deep thought trying to figure out something and started speaking). Yes young man when the kamandalu reaches your head and knocked you down how did you feel. Yes just tell me in truth. What actually you expirienced!

Young man: "What! (He looks around in wonder) Sadhu baba did you check up your head for this year. How you are putting such a stupid question. Don't you know that, I feel pain, even a small baby will know this. Please make it sure, you do not go out of your head."

Sanyasi: "Then if you admit that, you felt pain in your head, when the Kamandalu hits the head, you please show me that pain, you just show the pain to me. I want to see it. (Speak it in very serious mood.)

Young man: Oho! -- Sadhu baba -- now I have realized why people call you Swamis as mad people. How can I show to you the pain which is felt in my head. It is only a feeling, or expirience, which is subjective. It is not the object of visual perception, you are again and again proving yourself to be a fool. Please do not waste your time in this useless talk.

Sanyasi: Yes!!! I got the point. That is the point, I wanted to bring out from the Kamandalu therapy. Just as you cannot show the pain to me, I also cannot show God to you. This is felt ????? in my heart, as an experience. It is an expirience of Him. It is a subjective expirience. Therefore I cannot show it to you. First of all we do not have spiritual eyes, to see the Supreme Lord, who is the Supreme spirit, by the limited the unlimited cannot be understood. But it does not mean that God cannot be seen, in an absolute sense. There is a prescribed way of seeing him as it is given in the scripture, eg. in the Bhagavad Gita, The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krsna, speaks --"I am the smell in flower, I am the taste in water, I am the strengh of the strong man etc" These words of the Supreme Lord shows that He is the essence of everything. Therefore He is also the pain in your body. In this manner God reveals Himself to you, in the form of pain.

(Young man suddenly opens his eyes, in the mood of sudden awakening, from some sort of ignorance and stupidity. With tears of joy. He falls down at the feet of the Sadhu -- saying the following words:

Young man: - Oh! Swamiji, kindly forgive me for the offence I have commited to you. You have awakened me by removing the thick dirt of ignorance, from my

mind, through your powerful kamandalu therapy. Please forive me, for the offence to the Supreme Lord and to you. (He turns to the judge and says)

Your honour please excuse me for nuisance, I have commited to this great Sanyasi, please relieve him from all the liable punishment, and punish me instead.

Judge: According to your request all the charges against the Sanyasi are withdrawn.

3rd Scene: (The young man walks around up and down on the stage, reflecting the incident in his mind and talking to himself)

Young man: Oh! I feeling very light, this kamandalu therapy, just removes the thickest cloud of Godlessness (very seriously, holding his head) from my mind. I am very happy! I am very happy! What he said must be true. We are limited and our five senses are imperfect. I cannot even see a small germ, so how can I see God, who is Supreme, Absolute and infinite. But he said we can expirience Him (In a serious mood) Oh! it might be very nice experience. (Very queckly) I have to find out that Sanyasi. Oh! where to find him now. (He paced up and down) I must find him before it is too late. (He walks around thrusting his hewad on all sides looking for the Sanyasi and calls for the Sanyasi) Oh! Sadhu baba, where are you. (Suddenly he stops indicating the sight of the Sanyasi) Oh! there he is, there he is. (He runs towards the Sanyasi who is to the other side of the stage and falls at his feet)

Young man: Oh! swamiji please save me from this ocean of Samsara, please open my eyes. Please impart me the process to expirience God.

Sanyasi: Alright! Youngman - we will go under that tree. (They walk upto the stage.) The Sanyasi explains the process of Sadhana as our usual preaching pertaning to the proces of chanting in Kali yuga etc.

(The youngman chants and reflects to himself and turns towards the audience and makes them chant saying let us experience God through His Name - Maha mantra. The audience also follows him. All the characters in the Drama appeared on the stage and shouts the slogan 'Expirience God' 'Expirience God' 'Expirience God'. Concluding speach -- (From behind the screen) pertaining to how Krishna can be experience and see through His ??????)

(A short comedic drama ???????? and played by the devotees of ISKCON - MAPRAS -

INDIA on Sunday feast.)
