King
Sivaji stopped the attacks of muslim
rulers in India
Many people say that King Sivaji was an
incarnation of Lord Siva. He was given the BhavAni TalawAr ( Sword of Devi ) by
Durga Devi personally in dream. This sword was in the British museum for some
time. Now it has been returned to India.
He and his friends started attacking the
forts of the Muslim kings right from the childhood. There have been very few
kings like Sivaji who succeeded
so much against the Muslim rule.
Sivaji and his friends used to shout
"Hara Hara MahAdeva" while attacking the enemies. Sivaji however was
not the bodily platform. He had many loyal servants who were muslims by birth.
He never dishonored a place of worship or a holy book of any religion.
Once the muslims raided the temple where
Sivaji and Tukarama were doing nice Viththala ( Krishna ) kirtan. Tukarama
requested Lord Viththala to save Sivaji. Lord bewildered the muslims by His
mystic potency. Muslims saw that every body present there looked like Sivaji,
and meanwhile Sivaji escaped.
Tukarama Acharya was lamenting a lot
because of the havoc causeed by the muslims. Looks like Lord Krishna answered
his prayers and sent strong Sivaji to save the vedic dharma.
Those days the Brahmins were considering
that the Muslims kings are also like the reprensentatives of Lord Narayana. A
king has to be treated like Narayana. But a king like Sivaji, not a tyrant like
Aurangazeb.
Lord Krishna erected the magnificent
city of Dwaraka in the sea. Similarly His devotee King Sivaji erected the
Sindhugad fort in the sea. Sivaji was
also blessed by Saint RAmdAs. Ramdas Swami used to chant "Shri Ram Jaya
Ram Jaya Jaya Ram" all the time. But he used to carry an arm-rest and a
knife hidden inside the arm-rest. He used to travel with his disciples through
forests fearlessly and wanted a hidden knife to protect himself. He used to
wear only kaupin around waist.
Once to teach Sivaji a lesson, Ramadas
Swami broke a big stone. Immediately a frog popped out of the stone interior.
There was some water inside the stone and the frog was living in that water
sealed tightly by all sides. This way Ramadas Swami demonstrated to King Sivaji,
that if Lord wants to maintain somebody there is no fear for him.
Sivaji was known as "Go-Brahman
Pratipalaka" ( the protector of cows and brahmins ). Considering that Lord
Krishna loves the cows and brahmins so much, Sivaji must have been very dear to
Krishna.
