KAVIRAJ
Thanks for sending the detailed
information. After reading the details I can conclude, according to Ayurveda,
your problem is too much pitta or heat in the body. The increased pitta,
located mainly in the middle part of the body makes the semen thin and thus it
can easily go out while you are sleeping. The presence of too much pitta is
confirmed by the fact that foods which are heating (red dried chillies) and not
tolerable by your system. Frequent urination and yellow color of the urine also
indicates increase of Pitta and its presence in the uro-genital system.
Over this period of your sickness, your
vata has also increased due to stress relating to sickness. The pain in the back
is mainly because of the weakness which is caused by loosing to "shukra
dhatu" (semen).
I have treated hundreds of such cases
having nocturnal emission. The main line of treatment in such cases it to
reduce the quantity of pitta from the system. Here are some remedies and you
can try some of them. I am sure you will
see a lot of improvement in about four weeks of treatment. Please send me a
report after four weeks.
Black chikpea is a very good remedy for
your problem. Try on some Indian Store, you will find it. In Hindi it's called
"kala chana". Take about 30 grams black chipeas and soak them in
about one cup water, for at least 12 hours (better in the evening). Next
morning eat these chickpeas slowly and chew them nicely. The water can also be
taken by mixing two teaspoonful of honey in it.
A glass of warm milk with two bananas is
nice remedy and can be taken twice a day - morning and evening.
Carot is also beneficial. Carot juice
can be taken. Adding a teaspoonful of honey will be beneficial. Carot
"halva" is also good but do not add too much sugar. It will be better
to add honey for sweetening (after cooking) and no sugar.
Dried dates or dates and black resins
are also beneficial to treat this problem. Take about 3-4 pieces of dried dates
and 15 pieces of black resins. Soak them in water for at least 12 hours. Then
take it out and boil with 250ml. of milk and eat with milk. Once a day is good.
Taking a cold hip bath is also very
beneficial to reduce the heat in the area. A hip bath is taken by sitting in a
tub full with water (about 15 degrees C). Usually the legs are out of the tub
and only the abdominal region is dipped in the water. Such a hip bath can be
taken for 8-10 minutes.
Do not overeat, specially in the night.
Eat your dinner at least 2-3 hours before sleeping. The food should be light
that can be easily digestible.
Do not drink hot milk immediately before
going to bed.
Wash the hands, feet and face with cool
water before going to bed. Also everyday wash the genitals with cool water.
Make sure the bowels are always clean.
Constipation is a very big cause for nocturnal emission. When the stool
(toxins) lie in the rectum or colon it increases the heat or pitta in the area
and also exerts pressure on the seminal sac, facilitating the excretion of
semen. It is nice to take a teaspoonful of Triphala, if necessary.
Sleep on the back and not on the belly.
Purity of mind is also very important,
which I don't have to specify, as you are a devotee and I am sure you know that
it is important to maintain a "sattvik" state of mind, in order to
cure this sickness.
Never overeat and do not eat foods that
are fried, deep fried (like pakora, samosa), oily, greasy, very spicy, and
heavy (not easy to digest). Avoid too much white sugar and white flour
products. Eggplant, spinach, Urad dal, and sweets should also be avoided.
Try some of there remedies and let me
know if there is anything you do not understand.
Hari Hari!
