KEEP YOUR SYSTEM CLEAN TO STAY HEALTHY
By: Dr. Partap S. Chauhan.
Regular cleaning of toxins from the body is most
important both for prevention as well as curing the diseases. According to Ayurveda
most diseases are caused by waste products, which are are formed as a result of
metabolic activities in the body. Although the body has a natural tendency to
clean the waste products from the body, our modern life style (tension,
anxiety) and foods (frozen, fried, greasy) inhibit this natural process. The
following instructions will be helpful in maintaining a proper cleaning of the
toxins.
1. Eating rules should be followed to maintain the
natural cleaning processes in the body. Sleeping immediately after eating,
eating in anxiety, watching television or reading while eating, talking while
eating and driking water immediately after meals causes indigestion and
constipation. Some other important rules for eating.
a. Eat only
when you are hungry.
b. Chew the
food nicely.
c. Maintain
proper difference between two meals. (at least four hours)
d. Never
overeat.
e. Regulate
the food timings and eating habits.
A proper cleaning of toxins is possible, naturally,
by following these simple eating rules.
2. Taking of laxatives is once in a week is very
good to clean the toxins from the system. One should be careful about the
quantity of laxatives. The children, old people, injured, sick, pregnent women
and those having weak digestion should not take strong laxatives. Triphala
powder is a very common laxative prescribed by Ayurvedic doctors.
3. Fasting once in a week or once in two weeks also
digests the extra toxins in the body. Fasting should be according to a perosn's
constitution. It should not make a person weak. Depending on the strength, one
can observe complete fasting
or can eat only fruits, fruit juices, vegetable
soups or steamed vegetables.
So start following these instructions from today,
and you will feel a lot better with in two weeks. Please feel free to contact
