THE GOLDEN AGE - HOW & WHEN?

 

The following is a comprehensive summary of the predictions by ancient and modern day seers, astrologers and psychics around the world regarding the Golden Age compiled by Jai Hari Dasa. Jai Hari Dasa (James Spencer), an astrologer of many years has verified these with the astrological and astronomical facts. This has been compiled by me (Nayana-ranjana Dasa) from the two messages of Jai Hari Dasa. Most of the things are direct words of Jai Hari Dasa. I have added some sentences here & there.

 

THE BEGINNING OF KALI-YUGA

 

Imagine the following scene: It is midnight on the meridian of Ujjain in India on February 18, 3102 B.C. The seven planets, including the sun and moon, cannot be seen since they are all lined up in one direction on the other side of the earth. Directly overhead the dark planet Rahu hovers invisibly in the blackness of night. According to the jyotisa sastras, this alignment of the planets actually occurred on this date, which marks the beginning of the Kali-yuga. This means we are in the 5101th year of Kali-yuga.

 

PREDICTION IN THE BRAHMA-VAIVARTA PURANA

 

Text 50 sri bhagavan  uvaca kaleh pamcasahasrani varsani tistha bhu-tale papani papino yani tubhyam dasyamti snanatah

 

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: On the earth 5,000 years of Kali will be sinful and siners will deposit their sins in you by bathing.

 

Text 51 man-mamtropasakasparsad bhasmibhutani tatksanat bhavisyamti darsanacca snanadeva hi jahnavi

 

"Thereafter by the sight and touch of those who worship Me by My mantra, all those sins will be burnt."

 

Text 52 harernamani yatraiva puranani bhavamti hi tatra gatva savadhanam abhih sarddham ca srosyasi

 

There will be chanting of the name of Hari and reading of the [Bhagavata] Purana. Reaching such a place, attentively hear.

 

Text 55 thatapi vaisnava loke papani papinamapi prthivyam yani tirthani punyanyapi ca jahnavi

 

O Ganges, the whole planet will become a pilgrimage sight by the presence of Vaisnavas, even though it had been sinful.

 

Text 59 kaler dasa-sahasrani madbhaktah samti bhu-tale ekavarna bhavisyamti madbhaktesu gatesu ca

 

For 10,000 years of Kali such devotees of Mine will fill the whole planet. After the departure of My devotees there will be only on varna [outcaste].

 

Conclusion: 5100 years of Kali-yuga have already passed so the beginning of the Golden Age which is predicted in the Brahma-vaivarta Purana to begin after 5000 years of Kali-yuga must be just around the corner.

 

AUGUST 1999 - THE FULL SOLAR ECLIPSE

 

Through the science of analogy and correspondence I can readily see how the planetary conditions are in sinc with these horrific predictions. There are unlimited inauspicious omens that reveal the unfortunate conditions of our modern day world. The present planetary situation is ominous and foreboding. In this way I support the fateful predictions of ancient and modern day seers.

 

My mind continues to nag me about the hardships I feel are soon to come upon humankind.  The year 2000 is a very ominous year for all living entities.The year before, 1999, cannot be over looked. This is a foreboding year when anything and everything adverse and terrible could befall humankind.

 

There was a full solar eclipse - on August 11th 1999 at 11.08 GMT. Mars was on the horizon.  This particular full eclipse, was a rare type of eclipse, in conjunction with other planetary positions.  The constellation that the Sun and Rahu were transiting is dynamic and threatening.  The ominous presence of this eclipse was a very dark omen for us all.

 

The eclipse took place with Rahu and the Sun in Cancer, the sign of the Moon. During the eclipse, the Moon was black and devoid of life and power.

 

This eclipse revealed the presence of Kali Durga, the Goddess of death and destruction.  We watched the red planet Mars and strings of comets that follow after this ominous total eclipse of the Sun.  Mars and Saturn are very important planets in the transformations that the world is going to witness in the years ahead.

 

JULY 1999 - MAY 2000 THE DANGEROUS PERIOD

 

July of 1999 until July of 2000 is a very dangerous period on planet earth. Some times I just shake my head, in wonder of it all.  I am stunned by the potential of destruction, behind all this.  The planetary aspects are frightful, appalling and ruinous. From the middle of 1999 to the middle of 2000 Mars and Saturn are extremely destructive for mankind.  First comes the ominous Solar Eclipse of 8/11/99, then finishing with the grand conjunction of planets in Aries on 5/2000. It won't be long now. The planet ary lineup will soon be upon us.  The lineup takes place in the constellation of Aries, a sign ruled by Mars the planet of war and destruction. As far as I'm concerned the whole year holds many dangers. It is not a good year to be moving about.  It is better to  stay close to home and take care of yourself. No matter what happens, I am honored to have been born at a time in history of such astrological significance.  The solar eclipse of 8/99 is dark omen of immense proportions as the planets prepare for th eir grand lineup of the year 2000.

 

Astrologically speaking, the solar eclipse of 8/99, and the planetary line up of the year 2000, are rare and unfriendly stars.  In many ways, I will be glad when this millennium bug is over, one way or another! The long time awareness of the astrological influence of 1999 and 2000 has been a  knowledgeable monkey on my shoulders for many years.  We will never pay witness to such an astrological phenomena again in this life.  If you are an astrologer, this occurrence must take first place in your life. MAY 2000 - 2002.

 

MAY 2000 - 2002 THE GREAT DESTRUCTION

 

During May of 2000 the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn lineup in the constellation of Aries.  Mars rules this constellation and he will be leading the lineup slightly ahead in the early degrees of Taurus.  During a short period of time all seven planets will be in a straight line.  Mars is the commander and chief. This grand conjunction of planets is the planetary inauguration of the Aquarius age.

 

I believe that mass destruction will manifest in both ways.  There will be a serious war, acts of extreme terrorism as well as natural catastrophe. Two of the most dangerous countries in terms of devastating war are India and Pakistan.  One of the most dangerous countries in terms of extreme acts of terrorism and natural disasters is the good ole USA.  All the countries that were totally blackened by the solar eclipse in August of this year are in extreme danger.  It is interesting to note that Turkey was o ne of those countries that Rahu cast a complete shadow during the eclipse.  Three days after the eclipse Turkey was struck with a devastating earth quake, killing 20,000 people.  I believe that Canada is one of the safest countries to live in during these next few years. Never the less it is advisable that you do not live on the coast lines, nor on flatbeds of land that can easily be subject to flooding.  It is possible that the Great Lakes of Ontario will flood and merge into one body of water.  Naturally , this will cause unlimited adversity and death.  It has been predicted that as much as two thirds of the planet will be wiped out.  This is a frightening prediction of tremendous proportion.  If things come to this, I'm afraid we all are going to suffer in one way or another.  The old and sick will die off quickly and the rest of us become subject to survival of the fittest.  I dare say, how I could make such a doomsday prediction, without choking on my words.  I can only hope and pray that my thoughts wil l be on Lord Caitanya and the Holy name when death knocks on my door. One would hope that the predictions in this period (2000-2002) may come out false but then the massive destruction in these two years is a part of the  bigger plan which is the advent of the most wonderful Golden Age.

 

Let us now become greatly absorbed in chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra along with spiritual and metaphysical study.  In this way we can stay absorbed in  transcendental subject matter and the bliss of the Lord's Holy name and thus transcend the impending disasters in the material environment.

 

It has been predicted that it will take until 2002 to just climb out of the rubble and major chaos.  This is an interesting prediction, as Uranus will enter sidereal Aquarius in 2002.

 

From the ashes of destruction, the birth of universal vision is upon us.

 

2002-2009: THE LAUNCH OF THE GOLDEN AGE

 

After the year 2002 it will take another few decades to bring some resemblance of organization, form and structure back into society.  If all  the things that have been predicted for the change of the millenium come true?  It will take a whole generation for complete restoration and healing.

 

After this, the Kali Yuga age, will be held back for a period of 10,000 years. There will be 5000 years to the perfection of a mini Satya Yuga, when the planet is slowly returned to the mode of goodness.  After that there is another 5000 years of slow decline and degradation.  At this point the dark ages of Kali Yuga are back upon us in full force.

 

This 10,000-year cycle is a "Grace" period within the Kali Yuga. During this time, unlimited living entities will return back to the spiritual world, due to the unlimited and unfathomable mercy of the Golden Avatar.

 

Yes, Uranus enters sidereal Aquarius in 2002.  Uranus will remain in this sign for 7 years.  During this time human kind will go through tremendous  and inconceivable changes.  During the 7-year transit of Uranus through  Aquarius more great souls, enlightened beings and pure devotee's will manifest. Aquarius is the Water Bearer who pours upon mankind, the Absolute Truth.  Jesus was the Avatar for the age of Pisces and Lord Caitanya is the Golden Avatar for the Age of Aquarius.  Lord Caitanya is an Aquarius .  Even Jesus taught His disciples that there was more for them to know, but they were not yet ready to hear.  He went on to say, that during the age of the Water Bearer, all that is to be known, will come upon mankind. These 7 years will be the most  important period which will lay the foundation for the manifestation of the Golden Age.  Those living entities, countries and cities that are born with Aquarius lagna, Aquarius Moon or Sun sign are sure to be changed forever during  Ura nus through Aquarius.  T hose who are highly advanced in Krsna  consciousness, or given the mercy of Lord Caitanya's, will move into a state of samadhi.

 

I don't believe we can experience 7 years of Uranus moving through Aquarius with out some serious upheaval and revolution.  Therefore the big changes predicted upon the earth will extend beyond the planetary line-up and into  the transit of Uranus through sidereal Aquarius.

 

Uranus/Aquarius holds a certain amount of unreliability and erratic behaviour. After all, Uranus is a planet of sudden shifts, shock, alarm, earth quakes, surprise, alteration, mutation, riot, stampede and avalanches.

 

Uranus rules ultra sound and ultra violet.  Nothing is the same after Uranus does his thing. We are likely to be initially perplexed and puzzled. Uranus opens new frontiers, obeys higher orders, higher parameters, is unorthodox, totally impatient, eccentric, and mischievous.  Uranus looks for new thrills, breaks all boundaries and is a seeker par excellence.  Uranus  can be fanatic, idealist, and a desperado.  Uranus cannot stand mediocre, monotony or stupidity.  Uranus seeks to disclose new vistas, new pan oramas and discover new sciences. Uranus is revolution, reform and the 2nd coming of Krsna consciousness. Uranus does not mind scandal nor reproach. Uranus  is anti-establishment and he smites what is decadent, obsolete or just in the way. Uranus is capable of bringing shocking violence upon human kind.

 

When Uranus moves into Aquarius be ready for anything.  The transits of Uranus always brings drastic changes.  It is a savage force that stops as  suddenly as it started.  Uranus is electronic and always on the move.  Uranus is alert, acute and ready like a jet pilot.  Uranus is so fast that its speed is hard to measure.  Uranus is the Absolute Truth, universal brotherhood and the science of the soul.

 

It is easy to realize that we are in the very early stages of the Age of Aquarius.  In relation to "time" our present life span means nothing. It is not even one blink of Lord Brahma's eye.  Time is relative, but, for the spirit-soul it does not exist.  In relation to all the marvellous changes  that are yet to take place before the earth is flooded in Love of Godhead, we have not even climbed out of the stool yet.  We cannot limit our vision to this one mere life time.

 

The Age of Aquarius is the age of enlightenment. It is the beginning stage of a mini Satya Yuga, or Golden Age. It is not the end of Kali Yuga; rather, it is a 10,000-year grace period, within Kali Yuga.  The grace period exists simply by the unlimited mercy of Lord Caitanya, the Golden Avatar. The main purpose of this 10,000-year grace period, is to flood the world with love of God; liberating unlimited numbers of living entities, before the real Dark Age of Kali Yuga is upon us in full force.  As prophesi zed by Lord Caitanya, the golden years of grace will offer unlimited spiritual opportunities.

 

The Aquarius energy is not bound to race, color or creed.  Aquarius sees the true spirit in everyone.  Aquarius is the sign of the Water-bearer who pours great wisdom upon mankind.  The Water-bearer will aid mankind toward development of a society according to far greater moral and spiritual  values. Aquarius seeks universal brotherhood,  expression and ideals.  Aquarius is a sign ruled by both Saturn and Uranus.  The highest qualities in humankind  are expressed through an exalted Saturn. Limitations are broken and new  frontiers are explored when Uranus comes around.  Uranus will return to Aquarius in 2002.  This only happens once in a hundred years. It is considered a positive turning point for humankind.

 

2009-4000 A.D. THE MATERIALIZATION OF THE GOLDEN AGE

 

As you probably already know, each age lasts 2000 earth years.  It will take these two thousand years for Lord Caitanya's mission to fully materialize.  It will take another 3000 years to bring His prophecy to be full manifestation. It will take another 5000 years to decline.

 

During the first two thousand years of the Aquarian Age the earth will be restored to the mode of goodness, thus creating a mini Satya Yuga within  Kali Yuga.  This is necessary before human kind can pursue spiritual life nicely. Once mother Bhumi is restored to the mode of goodness a pure varna  society can become established and Dharma becomes embedded through out the  world.

 

It is an era when mankind will scientifically prove the existence of the soul. From this pursuit light energy will evolve to levels beyond our present imagination.  The metaphysical arts and sciences are restored and honored. The accuracy of Jyotish is restored to a hundred percent.

 

Aquarius is the sign of universal brotherhood, complete knowledge and service to humanity.  During this era human kind will come to fully acknowledge the existence of the spirit soul in all living entities. The laws of human kind will be based upon the natural laws of karmic retribution that is working through the forces of material nature.

 

Numerous evolved souls, sages, mystics and pure devotees of God will incarnate.  The human race will benefit greatly by their association.

 

4000-7000 A.D. THE FULL MANIFESTATION OF THE GOLDEN AGE

 

The earth will be returned to an almost perfect condition.  Once  Nature has been healed, the planet will become saturated in the mood of goodness. Humankind will live in harmony with God and nature. There will be no more pollution, or religious wars.  The opportunities for spiritual advancement are abundant.

 

The demigods would hanker to take birth during this time on earth because of the extremely favourable situation for self-realization.

 

I'm afraid if you really want to bare witness to Srila Prabhupada's world  glory you'll have to incarnate continuously for the next 5000 years. You'll have to continue your service to Lord Caitanya, each and every time. In 5000 years from now we can all gather in the Temple of Temples and dance in the victory kirtana, led by Lord Caitanya in honor of Srila Prabhupada.

 

7000-12000 A.D. THE DECLINE OF THE GOLDEN AGE

 

The Golden Age will decline gradually for these 5000 years.

 

12000 Onwards STRENGTHENING OF KALI

 

The full-force of Kali-yuga will be felt as per the already available detailed descriptions in the 12th Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam & other Puranas.

 

This will culminate in the appearance of Lord Kalki, about 427,000 years from now who will come to simply destroy the demoniac & re-establish Satya-yuga which is the beginning of another Catur-yuga (4,320,000 years).
